I’m on time constraint.using becker. Anyone with experiences feeling it’s okay to skip the long and boring lectures, and just read the book with highlites/notes within the ebook?

F8 and F9 are Govt and NFPs which are pretty important topics. F10 is going to have your IFRS recap. I think that I skipped the lectures for these, but I work as a governmental auditor. The book is pretty thorough so if you are good with learning from visual material only, then I think you could be well prepared from just reading. Just don't skim the material – make sure you have command of it.

Read the book like the whole exam depends on those 3 chapters, and I'm sure you can do fine with just the book. I didn't watch a single lecture throughout my whole study experience (unless you count the sample ones that I looked at just to see if I liked the materials), and still passed everything without problems…but you have to actually read the book. I do, though, think that a thorough reading takes less time than watching lectures (you can read thoroughly faster than someone else can talk and be comprehended), so I think that you can be very thorough with the book and still save time over the lectures, as long as you can continue to pay attention and not let your eyes (or mind) gloss over!
