Make sure you realistically pace yourself. Sometimes we have in our mind all we want to accomplish and then life happens and the pace changes with some discouragement. So again, realistically pace yourself.

    It begins with a 75

Rule #1 – create your own study plan and stick to it! Account for all the holidays in your plan and make sure you have at least a week for review, if not two.

Rule #2 – take notes!!! Write down journal entries so you can recall them from memory without a problem.

Rule #3 – know your learning strategy…rule #3 may contradict rule #2 but just make sure you know everything from the textbooks…or as much as you can…

Don't get frustrated at first if you don't score too high in your MCQ practice. Review the chapter/notes and keep practicing MCQ until you get 80% or higher!!!

Good luck! I'm sure others will add some more tips.

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14
