Hello, I have posted here about a week ago. I am currently studying for FAR using Roger and this will be my first exam. I have been studying for roughly 20 days. I am currently in chapter 23 which is Government accounting. My plan so far was to watch the lecture and skim through the textbook and take around 20-25 question exam. ( I know it is not even close to enough multiple choice questions but I will do a bunch of them later on). I have been scoring around 50%-60% on chapter exams and have taken a few cumulative exams and scored 45%-50%. I have about 6 weeks before I sit for the exam. Once I finish with the remaining 3 chapters what should my best strategy be? I will like I am weak in a lot of chapters. Should I watch the cram course and then do all the MCQs or vice-versa? Watching all the videos again would be a huge waste of 50 hours right?

I personally never found any meaningful value in watching videos. Practicing problems is the best way to put it all together for each of the exams. FAR is a beast so I would not take it lightly and definitely do not skim through governmental accounting. Carefully review the AICPA blue print and focus on mastering the topics listed. Good luck!

Hey, Bigstakk. How many MCQ's questions have you done approximately for FAR? Are TBS problems crucial to put everything together or were you able to pass without doing a lot of them? How well have you scored on MCQ's? Roger CPA emphasized Statement of Cash Flows, Government and Not for profit so I will definitely spend a good amount of time on those chapters. I can allocate around 30 hours a week so 6 weeks sounds like plenty of time I hope.
