Hi everyone,

I’ve been doing the progress tests for Becker to review each chapters of FAR. I’ve been getting scores between 75-80.. Should I be confident about the results I am getting? I feel like if I am aim to pass, my scores should be higher. But I keep going back to review the materials and still getting the same scores. I am getting frustrated. Anyway, any advice on how you studied on your last few weeks prior to taking FAR?

I though re-reading the chapter and working all the MCQs from the chapter was very helpful. I did a chapter a day/2days.

Then did progress tests after each chapter!!!

Your scores are pretty good, just keep at it!!

I was getting about the same scores as you were doing the progress tests at the end of each chapter. I also became frustrated because I was reviewing and just couldn't seem to crack 80 on those progress tests. I think you are doing just fine. As I got closer to my exam I re-read the chapters (the main points anyway) and made notes of the main items. I then took the final exam the day before my actual exam and bombed on it totally killing my confidence until I came on here and saw that many people bombed Becker's final exam only to go on to pass the actual exam. So just remember to keep your confidence and just try to understand a majority of what you review. I felt terrible after I left the exam and thought I failed for sure only to find out I passed so just keep at it and do lots of MC questions and practice SIMS. Also, know your journal entries for different transactions and you will be fine. Just know you can do it!!!

I'm also in the final weeks before FAR, and would appreciate any advice on how to do my final 2 weeks of study. @CPA628, did you find redoing the SIMS in Becker were helpful for passing FAR? Thanks.
