If you feel like there is a huge gap between what is in the book and and what is in YOUR mind, do not panic. Some people read once and remember everything! Some people need more time. There is nothing wrong with this! We are all different. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT RUSH!!! I took 5 months to study FAR. FAR has far, far, far more material than any of the other exams. Review, learn something new and review over and over again. Additionally, do not forget to take breaks!!
REVIEW! REVIEW! REVIEW! You don't want to forget and get frustrated again… right?
The goal is just to crosss the finish line, even if you only crawl across the finish line. 17% to 25% of CPA candidates quit. Do not be one of them. Discouragement is a luxury that you cannot afford. The will to prepare is vital!
I spent two years chained to my computer for these CPA exams. Now I am a free man!
No one ever does anything alone, not even these CPA exams. I offered my plan for these exams to God. Last Saturday I hosted a dinner at a local restaurant for 14 of my prayer warriors. Today I have an interview for a great CPA job that is directly tied to two of my prayer warriors!
Good luck to all of you in your struggles with these exams.
