suzette1, ME!! i got an 81 in this FAR (couldnt stop myself from checking my score).. I took FAR 8/31, used Becker, scored a 72. The second time, I took FAR 11/08 and passed with an 81! Thanks to Yaeger CRAM! 😀 i am so happy!

@FarBehind – How are you holding up? I think about you all the time and I am praying so hard for your passing FAR score.

@CPAWannaBe – You are also on my mind. How is your final studying on FAR going? I feel like Yaeger put me over the edge and I am praying the same for you.

I take REG on Tuesday and it's my last part. My nerves are a bit frazzled because I want this to be over. Made a 65 last time. I think that was in part due to the fact that I found out I made a 74 on FAR the day before I took REG. But that was my lowest score out of all the tests I have taken so I am a bit concerned. Well, back to studying. Just wanted to drop in and wish two of my “classmates” the best of luck. 🙂

This is my very first post actually and I'm posting because I'm starting to get very nervous and frustrated now that my FAR exam is in less than a week.

I'm studying with Yaeger Review and my question is, is it really enough to study the MCQ's and Simulations that they assign? Or should I do some questions from the CD as well?

I did some of them from the CD but its wayyy too many to go over all of them.

I went over the assigned questions at least once but still get some of them wrong when I redo them.

For those of you that passed, did you feel like you were not ready but still passed?

@nevergiveup – I felt completely unprepared the day before the exam, the day of the exam, during the exam, and after the exam. I was not scoring 75% on the final day of practice MC. I passed.

I used Gleim's book and MCQ. I did not go over all of the questions that I had available – not enough time. I just made sure to give myself an even sampling of the topics and then extra questions on topics where I was weaker.

@ chic – Hi! I'm no expert but I have both Becker and Yaeger and I personally recommend Yaeger better. It's more of question based approach and they show you Journal Entries. Also, they seem like they are pretty up to date with the changes that will be made in 2011. Plus, they have the instructor hotline and you can ask them questions! I just called and spoke with Phil Yaeger himself. He seemed like he really cares and wanted to help as much as he can.

So my personal preference is Yaeger CPA Review! I think they have specials going on right now too for 2011 materials. Hope it helped a little.
