Does anyone know if they are still testing the Hierarchy or Accounting Qualities? i.e. Pervasive Constraints, Primary Decision Qualities (Relevance & Reliability). I have the 2013 book for Wiley and the Illustration of Hierarchy of Accounting Qualities is still in the book however, I’ve been told that this has been eliminated from the exam. Please let me know. I just started studying for FAR and it’s a beast. I just want to make sure I’m not spending too much time on irrelevant/outdated concepts.

What I've got to say you probably don't want to hear but if it's on the outline you have to study it. Believe me, I understand how enormous the material is for FAR, but you need to study everything and just know you will end up with some topics that aren't strengths. Nobody is 100% solid on everything going into FAR….but you should do your best to absorb as much as you can. As the saying goes….skipping parts is a ticket to a 74
