    Hello,

I just passed the REG and studying for FAR. I would really appreciate it if anyone who have successfully completed FAR could share any helpful tips on the best method to use for prepping for FAR exams. I’m planning to take the exams in NOV-14.

While I don't know if I've “successfully completed” FAR yet, I can tell you to keep doing progress tests after every one or two chapters for all the chapters you've studied thus far. It will probably save you A LOT OF FRUSTRATION when trying to review later on after you're done with F10 and completely forgot about F1-7. I definitely plan on doing this with REG, I am studying that as we speak. Any tips from you for REG would also be appreciated.

I definitely wish I was one of those people who got all 4 exams done in 4 months, but unfortunately LIFE (being a newlywed, stress, adjusting to newlywed life and cpa exam study life, as well as starting a job with a Big4 which I am very happy about) got in the way, just happy that I am passing period!!

Thanks for the Study tip kpb. For REG, I will encourage you to make sure you understand the concepts and also work as many questions as possible. Review any question you get wrong and make sure you read the section again in the book to make sure you understand the material. Also, I will encourage you to use other test bank. For instance, I have a becker review course, but also used Wiley test bank. Sometimes it really helps to have different perspective. Again, youtube was very helpful. Wish you all the best. You can do it.
