Am I the only one that think that the FAR material for Becker is much longer than it needs to be? especially if you watch lectures and do the MCQ’s right after for each section. I am really enjoying doing the NINJA framework. I feel like every is much fresher in my head. I just wanted to see if anyone felt the same way.

I felt the same way. But again, the bottom line is 75. You can gauge how much time and attention you can put into for the details on each and every page.

The fact of the matter is there is just a TON of material on FAR altogether. I have Roger CPA Review and the FAR portion is MUCH longer than I anticipated and longer than AUD and BEC put together. I am also following the NINJA framework and I think it will be much more beneficial in the end because it'll keep me refreshed on all of the topics near test time rather than completely forgetting the things I did in the earlier sections. When I first began I felt overwhelmed and a tad angry there was just so much, but the truth of the matter is: just gotta do it. If you want to pass you've got to learn it all and put the hours in, no amount of complaining or worrying will get the information into your brain, but actually spending the time studying it and working MCQ will.

    Good luck to you!

The F3 lecture was so long it started to confuse me and frustrate me. I just stopped watching it and read the book instead and feel much better.

An interesting challenge would be to find a component in FAR that could be moved to another section. Differed Taxes was the best I could come up with and that would probably make REG to long. Government accounting to BEC might work.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

Study Monk, I believe government to something else would be a pretty good start. I'm not sure why they insist on making FAR so incredibly long especially compared to BEC and AUD. BEC seems to already have a few things that probably used to be in FAR (cost accounting for one) so why not move some more things over? My BEC book is short as hell while my FAR book is massive.
