Im taking FAR in two weeks do you have any last minute advice for me? Anything you wish you had studied more? Anything that I should focus on? Im in panic mode 🙁

No time to panic! Two weeks is plenty of time to sure up everything you've learned thus far. WIth that said, I would try to focus on the following things:

1) Govt/NFP – funds, restricted or unrestricted? journal entries for GOVT

2) Foreign Transaction – journal entries

3) Bonds/Leases – know how to calculate the carrying value if they only give certain information…

4) Accrual vs cash basis

5) Pensions – how to solve for pension expense/ pension liability, etc.. (just know everything about pensions..)

6) EPS – I wouldn't spend a ton of time here, but know the basics of basic and diluted EPS

7) Cash Flows – know what belongs and where to put stuff in for indirect/direct methods

8) understand what is in OCI, CI, and NI.

9) review all financial statements and placement of categories.

Hope this helps! FAR kicked my butt but don't let it kick yours.

For foreign transactions were they on hedging the transations (fair value, cash flow) or had to do with translations, remeasurements?

how much time do you think i will need for the simulations?

I took FAR last week and left 2 hrs for the sims. I think two hours was just enough time. I had 15 minutes to spare, but I also was able to answer the research question really fast, so that saved some time.

I just took FAR and finished the MC in 2 hours and needed the remaining 2 hours to complete the sims. Just be mindful of the time you spend on each question. Move on if you find yourself struggling (not only do you eat up your time that way, but you also get frustrated).
