So I am about 4 days out from my exam, and I’m not sure what the best use of my time is for these last few days. My schedule so far for FAR has been:

    – Go through all chapters and lectures, do all MCQs and SIMS
    – Once I got through all the material, I did Becker’s final review
    – I then took my first Mock and scored a 62
    – Then I reviewed chapters 1 – 7 extensively, rereading the book and taking notes and working MCQs
    – Took Mock 2 and got a 70
    – Reviewed Chapters 8 – 10 taking notes and doing MCQs
    – I took my last Mock exam yesterday and got a 78

For those of you who have taken FAR and passed, what do you suggest I do for these last few days before my exam? It’s my last one so I am hoping to just pass it the first go around. Thanks!

I would probably suggest to continue focusing on topics that you are weak on, and also allowing time to go over the other material to ensure it's still there. I would typically break up my day by going over my notes in the morning for an hour or two, and then spend another few hours doing MCQs and SIMs on my weaker areas in the evening.

I guess this can go either way, but the day before your exam, I would also suggest to keep the studying light. I would usually just review my notes a couple times throughout the day, and read the book for certain topics if I was uncertain about any topics. Maybe I'd do a set of MCQs and SIMs, but nothing crazy.

If you haven't already, I would definitely check out the AICPA sample test for FAR, and work on those simulations.

Good luck! I look forward to seeing your results!
