I am now two days away from taking my FAR exam. This will be my first CPA exam. I have used Becker and NINJA MCQs to learn the material. I got a 73/81 on the mock exams for Becker and am trending at 82 in NINJA. What advice would you give me to study the day before my exam? I have heard how hard the sims are? Should i focus on those? Or just keep doing MCQs? Thanks!!

My advice, don't do MCQs the day before the exam. Review notes or the book.
I would skim through my notes or textbook and look at the bolded words for anything I needed a refresher on.
You want your brain to be fresh for the exam. Make sure you get enough sleep.

Don't put the exam on a pedestal. It's just a test. You studied hard, you invested the time, you will pass.
You have some time when you sit down, so get settled and take some deep breathes. Control your breathing and heart rate so you can focus.

One in-test tip I would advise is to don't stop if you hit a hard MCQ (I know, they're all hard). Just move on until you get some softballs that will restore your confidence and/or even give you a hint for the other questions. I don't really care for that subconscious stuff, but there's no denying that your mind can think more clearly when you come back to it later (even after a few minutes).

But wow, when I literally couldn't answer any of the first 3 or 4 MCQ's yesterday, that was quite some panic moment lol.

Day before I always took it pretty easy. Read a few flashcards. Looked at the outlines of my notes. I don't like feeling pressured last minute.

If you're going to do anything, just review SIMs you get wrong a lot.

Good luck to you, I'm taking mines on the 26th.

I plan to review my notes (skimming/plus hitting some weaker areas) and do some 10-20 question quizzes the day before my exam, but I plan to stop studying around night time to give my brain a break. Last thing I want to happen is to be burned out the next day because I was too anxious the night before the exam D:

The day of, I plan to skim my notes but mainly just relax and get ready for the exam. By that point if I'm trying to do questions I don't understand, then there's no way I'll be able to remember how to do it on the exam.
