I got my scores for FAR and BEC, failed terribly 61 and 64 respectively.

I have accepted the scores and understand that it’s pertly my fault, didn’t study enough, spent like 2 weeks studying.

I’m planning a rematch in 2012 and was seeking for an advice, is it a good idea to do two exams in one window or I should try and spread them in different windows?

Also, I used Gleim thinking of switching, what are some of the best reviews?

Any idea/input will greatly be appreciated.

Taking 2 exams per testing window is pertectly fine. The only thing I'd recommend is to give yourself some time between the 2 exams. So try to schedule the first near the beginning of the testing window and the second near the end.

If you're looking for a great review course, I highly recommend NIU Correspondence CPA Review. I used it for all 4 sections and passed each one on first attempt with about 6 weeks of study per section. I can't say enough good things about this course. If you can motivate yourself and are ok with an audio course this can be for you, although I saw on their site that they also added videos as well. Good luck!

    BEC 83 (08/31/11)

I've never passed both exams when taking two in the same window, but I know it's possible because I've seen many people on this forum do it. I only took two exams in one window once, and I passed one test and failed the other. I personally prefer to take on at a time so that I have more time to study for each section. A tip for when you re-study for FAR and BEC – study like you have never studied for them before. I made the mistake with REG on my second attempt of only studying for a couple weeks because I had just taken it a month before… big mistake.

As far as review courses go, I would say that the best thing to do is go out and watch the sample videos of any courses you are interested in (if they have videos). Also, check out CPAexcel if you don't learn well with videos and think that reading would benefit you more. They have a free trial available at cpaexcel.com. There will be a person from each review course that will tell you that it's awesome, and another that will tell you it's awful. You need to figure out your best learning method and then choose the review course that most closely correlates with it. No matter what review course you go with, I think that Jeff's NINJA notes are an amazing supplemental tool.

    Good luck!.
