i was struggling to get through the mcq on this topic, it took me so long, I mean i understand the basic concepts, but when i do the mcq, it’s just all over the place. Any tips for this topic?

I have a lots of topics that needs to be nail down before my 3rd try for this beast. My previous score 73,74, hopefully can get 75 this time.

My weak topics:

IFRS,

F2 foreign transactions, price change in financial reporting (small topic),

F6 defer tax and liability.

F7 financial instrument such as, foreign hedge and swap etc.

F9 program service, support service…MCQs are confusing.

any tips can share? will be appreciated…

Honestly, I would not worry too much about deferred tax assets and deferred tax liabilities. The Becker questions are 10xs harder than what you see on the exam (I took FAR three times). The exam just tests your basic understanding of the concept.

gotta know it, im so glad that i know this topic so well that i was able to do one of my simulations for FAR. too bad that i can't tell you what the question is, but you need to nail this topic.

This was a tough topic on FAR, but just be sure you understand the basic concept and you should be fine. There aren't a ton of MCQ's in Becker on deferred taxes anyway, so that should tell you a bit about how significant the topic is. Don't skip it, but don't spend more time on this and forget to review basic depreciation and miss that on the exam.
