I know TX has two ethics classes/exams. One to qualify for the exam and one after you pass all of them. I was qualified before they implemented the first one. (I think it was 2004 when they added that requirement). Do I have to take that class or am I grandfathered in? Please please tell me that I don’t have to take that class (first one).

David- you have to take an ethics exam to be able to sit for the CPA. If you already have an approved applicaton of intent, you are covered. After you pass all 4 parts of the exam, you have to take a 4 hr ethics CPE type of course. The one my boss ordered for me was mailed to the office and once I pass all four parts, I will submit my answers online and immediately print a certificate of completion. The entire course took about 2 hours to read and answer questions. EASY!

    FAR- 75
    REG- 82
BEC- 73, 79!! Its over. Am I dreaming?
    AUD- 74, 74, 88
