    Hey guys, I’m new here.

I took REG today, my first attempt at any section. I studied with Becker, put a solid month & a half in. It’s hard to say exactly how much study time I put in, my guess would be ~150 hours.

Honestly, I felt really good going in to the exam. I got an 81 and an 87 on my Becker practice tests, and from what I’ve read, that’s usually a good indicator that you’re ready. So I walk in, and my MC testlets seemed to go medium-hard-hard. I felt pretty confident answering most of the questions even on the hard testlets. Then came the simulations…..It’s going to be a long 2.5 weeks…..

Sounds like you had a good experience. The Becker Final Exams are tough. I usually steer clear of them and just use the simulated exam or progress test, since the Final Exam, for me, is such a confidence killer. The simulations are definitely tough on REG. I feel like they make or break you! This exam is such a crap shoot, it is really hard to discern how it went, at least for me that has been the case, I would take a deep breath, and be happy one is out of the way and move on to the next exam.

Welcome to the forum, and best of luck to you going forward.

Thanks for your encouragement Yankee, it's much needed.

Anyways, there was more to this post, and I must've accidentally deleted it right before I posted. Basically I like I failed 2 of the 6 simulations, felt okay at best on 2, and felt good about 2. My original question before I accidentally deleted part of my post was how do you feel walking out of these tests? Is it common to walk out feeling hopeless, or do you know when you pass for the most part? If simulations make or break you on REG, I might have been broken :/

I haven't taken REG yet, but my experience on AUD was that I walked out absolutely hopeless. I didn't feel “good” about any sim. For FAR I had a couple of slam dunk sims, and a couple that were fairly difficult/impossible. I'll let you know when I get my score tomorrow hopefully. (I'm not staying up tonight to check every 2 minutes. I'd lose my mind.)

    AUD - 88
    FAR - 90
    REG - 85
    BEC - 88

Hmmm I walked out of REG on Saturday feeling pretty hopeless. I studied my tail off for it; probably more than any other one. I walked out of FAR feeling the same way.

When I walked out of AUD and BEC it was more of an annoyed feeling like “Okay I proooobbbbabbbllllyyyy passed but its going to be close”

No, with FAR and REG its been…..”yeah I have no idea”

My testlet went from medium (1) to some impossible questions but really easy questions (2) to omg why am I still sitting here (3) but the SIMS seemed OK…….except for one nasty installement sale questions that didnt make much sense.

I had some really off the wall random questions.

Ugh! Im pretty sure March 8th is going to take forever to get here.
