don’t think accounting is the way it should be..”

These were the words of wisdom by boss gave today after asking him a simple question. I was working on an expense account and just made the comment, “cash for this department is recorded in an expense account”. He leaned back in his chair, threw his pencil on his desk. It is important to note that he was checking his facebook account, so I interrupted this importat task.

Then he on on to say “is this the crazy guy and the crazy lady in XXXX department? Then all the wtfs? wtf are they talking about? etc, etc. In summary, he could not give me an answer (they wanted to know their cash balance) and told me to ignore those people, not before mentioning “If I could find another job, I would quit this fckn place.”

Is this how things work in other places as well? It’s kind of sad to see people making >100K and still complain about their job…
