Do our exam scores help/hurt???

Someone posted about multiple fails on the CPA exams and I was wondering if our test scores could help or hurt when applying for a accounting gig?

Assuming both job candidates have no experience (all criteria the same), does someone who completed all 4 exam in the 90% stand a better chance of getting a job as someone who failed multiple times and scored in the high 70%? Can you use your high test scores as an advantage?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I’ve never worked in accounting and I have no idea how the employment process/screening work.

    Thanks!

A pass is a pass. That's all employers care about….

I dont know anyone who puts their CPA test scores on their resume. It really doesnt matter how many times it takes or what your score is, a pass is a pass. Nobody is going to come up to you after you get your CPA and ask you what your scores were.
