I will take test for FARE in Apr 1. I use 2011 Yaeger HS as my review program. So far I have finished:

    1) Watching 15 DVDs

    2) Making notes and finishing required Mcs and Sims for each Module-(80%-90%)

    3) Based on the notes and textbook, preparing the flashcards for total 13 modules

    4) Redoing the MCs and Sims of textbook in the second time(:( Still around 85%)

Right now I started to use Wiley test bank for practice, but I found a problem that the MCs in Wiley software would be pretty easy, which are not so hard as I expected or the comments I have heard from others. So I was confused if the Wiley had covered all contents for the exam.

Does anyone have any advice for my last 20 days? Many thanks!

From posts I've read people seem to say that the Gleim MCQ's are harder than the actual exam. They're pretty cheap – you may want to look in to those. Good luck!

    FAR 82
    AUD 81 (2007), 73, 80
    REG 68 (2010), 76
    BEC 58 (2007), 75 DONE!!!!

I second smrichard. Gleim's questions are tough, so they are good prep for the real exam!

    FAR - 92 --- AUD - 87 --- REG - 80 --- BEC - 87

I will agree that Gleim questions are ridiculously tough. I've been practicing with them non-stop for the past month and cannot exceed 76 (and I only got that score once). My head is all bruised up because I kept banging it in frustration.

Well, not literally, but you know what I mean. But seriously…they're so tough, it's really frustrating and now I'm not so sure if I'll pass in April.

Gleim's MCQ are harder than the actual exam but they are solid questions and good prep.

That's what I used for FAR.

    BEC - 10/18/2010 - 79
    FAR - 10/28/2010 - 82
    AUD - 11/04/2010 - 73; 02/18/2011 - 86 - IT'S OVER!!!!!!
    REG - 11/21/2010 - 83

Same boat as you, I started doing every question in Wiley including the Yaeger Min's and they seem very easy, im getting like 85-90% of them right, with none being really confusing. However, its like a small sampling of everything instead of a big sample of the bigger issues….

    FAR 92
    AUD 91
    BEC 11/06/2011
    REG 02/01/2012

Go on the Internet and do all of the questions in “CPA Review For Free.”

As someone who owns both the Gleim and the Wiley test banks, I find the difficulty of the MCQs to be pretty much the same on both.

Do all of the questions in the Wiley book, not just the minimum that Yaeger suggests. Additionally, do all of the questions in “CPA Review For Free.”

    Good Luck!
