Are there any individuals in the DMV studying for FAR and perhaps taking their exam either next month like me or thereafter? I’m trying to see if some folks would like to meet at a central location for a study group/session. For me, that would include the use of laptops for WTB, discussion over are choices (answers), sharing acronyms or simple pneumonic devices and review games. I’m not sure about others, but because of my competitive nature, especially when it comes to trivia, games work, and I retain information better for exams. I’ve practiced this technique on the children I teach for Sunday School, as there preparing for a Bible Bowl in March, and it miraculously works. If it can work on kids, I don’t see why it can’t work on adults. It may even help us to relax well enough to clearly think through our answers. Just seeing if anyone may be interested.
