    Hey all,

Today I watched the F2 Becker lecture which is on timing, matching or rev and exp, and a bunch of other stuff. I feel like I understand what the text is saying after I watched the lecture and reread the text. However, when I went to do the mcq, it was an absolute TRAINWRECK for this particular section. Some of the things were right out of left field. Has anyone had this problem? I feel discouraged and I don’t know what to do. Any advice is welcomed. Im not a quitter but right now im having trouble believing I can pass this thing.

    AUD - passed
    FAR - 8/29
    REG -
    BEC -

You CAN do it! If you don't have faith in yourself, then I will. Because I know you can do it. It just takes practice and you have to want it more than you want air! Keep at it and they will get easier. I promise.

@Seaner56 I would like to start this post saying that F2 is a very discouraging chapter! I am currently on F9, but I spent waaaay too long on F2. I haven't taken the exam yet, but when I was going through F2-F6, I was basically screaming and cursing and convinced that I was going to fail after completing each MCQ section with scores ranging from 40-65%. There are no magical words to heal the pain of F2, or F1 and F3-F10. However, I realized that the key to getting through FAR with Becker, or any review course for that matter, is to go into the practice questions with a level head, and try to use each question as a learning tool, while not worrying about your percentages and whatnot. Not only is this approach less frustrating, but if you learn why each answer is correct, and why the wrong answers are incorrect, it makes the concepts much easier to understand and it clicks a little bit more each time you go through the practice questions. Remember that your first time through the questions is not an assessment, but rather a learning experience. The other key to this process is to stay positive! Remember that this is just a test and that we are all capable of passing if we put our best efforts in and stay (or get) confident!

@Seaner56 I totally understand the feeling! I am now finished F-4 and just have the hw left to get through but F-2 I felt just killed my spirit. I even gave up on the hw because I did all of it but of course it doesn't count as “done” for Becker until you answer every question right at least once sooo that hw still says I've only completed 46% of it…..it was that bad lol Don't get discouraged! My plan of attack was to move on to the other chapters so I don't get behind and any free time I have in between to study F-2 again and work on getting the hw questions right. FAR is like a test of endurance but don't fall behind because you are focusing too much on a topic you did poorly in. Good luck!
