Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

Almost 100% of corporations use the indirect method. Take that for what it's worth.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

almost 100% use indirect method but the FASB recommends the use of the direct method. When one uses the direct method, they still have to use the indirect method as well for reconciliation, so you end up using both.

The one you neglect to study will be the one tested more heavily. Know both methods inside and out.

They are easy and pretty useful to know so just learn both.

Sorry to disappoint, but you definitely need to know both inside out. This is one of the areas that should come as “easy points” on the exam.
