If I’m planning on using Yeager 2012, should I buy the 2012 Wiley books or 2013 is okay?

also is there any difference between Yeager 2012 and 2013?

The format of the auditing exam will change in July, so if you plan on using 2012 materials you need to pass the auditing exam by the second testing window. Also, you can purchase the 2013 updates to the 2012 Yaegar course on their website. Good luck!

You should use the 2012 book with the 2012 lecture because they will work certain problems during the lectures and those problems may be different numbers in the 2013 book.

I believe 2013 exam will have the tax elements of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) in the REG section.

Yaeger website also has a 2013 FAR update which includes online video and handouts

not sure if I should buy that since to my knowledge FAR didn't change in 2013?

How does the updates from the Yaeger site work?

I have homestudy 2012 FAR USB from my friend. Can i just pay for the update and yaeger will send me the 2013 far update or do I need to verify my friends account before they send any updates?

I know there are no differences, but I would love an update just to feel safe.

I used the 2013 Wiley books with the 2012 Yaeger course for both FAR and BEC and passed just fine this year. Sure, some of the MCQ numbers may be a bit off from what they cover in the lecture but it's usually only off by 1 or 2 and it's not hard to follow; basically they added more questions at the end of each module in 2013 books. I guess a few REG numbers are changing but I'm not worried about that either. Audit updates is the only one I'd pay for.
