Ok! I’m writing to you because I’m desperate and in need of great advice and suggestions. I started the CPA process last year and have not been doing too well. I don’t know what to do; I took two parts using Yaeger CPA and ended up with 0 for 2. My main issue is that I don’t understand the material really well even with lectures. I’m not trying to make excuses but I have been out of school for a long time and a lot has changed, I work about 55-60 hours a week which leaves a little of time for me to study and really focus on the exam. When I was in college I have used their tutors excessively in order for me to catch up with the subjects. I don’t consider myself a very smart person and I have always worked hard and did all that I can to achieve my goals. I feel that I need to have additional help in order for me to master the subjects because even after listening to the lectures and taking notes, I’m not getting the concepts in my head. I just can’t seem to focus but I really need this. I was thinking if I can maybe get additional help from tutor on the subjects that I’m struggling with, then I could get a better chance of passing the exams. At this point, I invested enough already to back out. I will do whatever it takes to get this. I have realized that a degree it’s not enough and need to get the designation in order for me to be something in the business world (my biggest regret is that I didn’t think that when I finished school and thought that BA in accounting should be enough to have a good job)
Any suggestions on where to find professional CPA tutors!???? I have looked online and found some cites but not sure of their credibility.
Please help, at this point I’m desperate and don’t want to drag this any longer!
Thank you in advance for your response!
