Delaware CPA Lincense Requirement

    Is Delaware still a two tier state: Does it issue certificate and permit to practice. I know before 2006 it was..I don’t know now…

    Can I just apply for the certificate from there…

    Do you need work experience just for the certificate….

    Please help..

    I think that was true till 2006. Now you have to apply for both the certification and license at the same time. I think they only have a combined application…..That is exactly what I was trying to confirm here?

    Is there any one who has applied for the certification recently…with 120 credit hours…

    I'm in MA and I don't have the 150 Credits. Can I register for the CPA Certificate in Delaware? In case I don't get my 150 credits within 3 years after I pass the CPA?

    Not 100%…the link I posted looks like its august, or maybe you had to be grandfathered in? Calling that board directly is the only way

    I just called them. They become a tier 1 state since 01/2006. So out of luck there too..
