I am on my last test and I left the beast for last, FAR. I have two windows left and need a little encouragement.

I just reordered the updated book for FAR from CPA EXCEL and this thing is so fat…1,100 pages and there’s no questions in the book!!!!!!..I had no idea there was this much info to digest. It’s daunting really. I’m about 1/2 way through the book. So if I may ask for some advice. I am not nor have I been in the accounting field. Worse I’ve been in banking all my life. I graduated about 15 years ago so debits and credits have meant something different to me. I get bogged down real bad when I try to simple follow the method of watch the video, ready the text, do the practice questions, then do the exam questions, and then sims if there are any. I work full time and at this rate I’ll be lucky just read through the book when I take vaca starting 02/07. I’m off until 02/28..exam day. I’m taking 3 weeks off….I’ve never done that in my professional life but I’m trying to make this my last test.

So do I just read through the book and then just EQ’s until my eyes bleed when I’m on vacation or do I trying to sprinkle in the EQ’s while I’m trying to read through the material? I really don’t see how anyone can absorb this much info. It’s kind of silly.
