Corp. Accounting count as experience?

    Does anyone know if experience in corporate/private accounting under a CPA count as experience towards earning my actual license?

    FAR - 7/30/11-73 11/30/11-82
    AUD - 10/24/12-73, 1/11/12-72, 5/30/12-78
    REG - 5/15/12-82
    BEC - 2/29/12-82...leap day luck!

    PASSED!!!!

    Depends on the state. In ny it does

    In IL it counts. Best to check with your state. I validated through the IL CPA society website which had an email link for licensure questions specific to IL. Perhaps your state has something similar?

    FAR - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER)
    AUD - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES)
    BEC - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES)
    REG - 2013 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES + NINJA AUDIO)

    ETHICS - 2013 - PASSED

    It does in California. My boss (the controller) and the CFO signed off for me.
