I have not taken a portion of the exam yet, but I am studying for FAR using Becker materials. A lot of times the homework presents a question with a lot of information, and asks you to figure out one piece. The very next question will feature the same information, but ask you to solve something else. I was wondering if the actual exam does this very often? It seems like it would save some time if they did, because you are familiar with the information.

I've never seen that happen! Sorry, but the examiners really don't like to make ANY of this easy. The Sims will be as close to that as you will see. You may see a question in testlet #1 and then, what either seems like or actually is, an identical question in testlet #2 or #3. That I've seen a lot. I really don't know what that means either. I've seen that on tests I've passed and on tests I didn't pass.

Just took BEC yesterday, and it was the first time that I had 2 questions that tested the same topic. Both were worded differently but the topic and the answer were the same. (not word for word, however) The exam is a mystery to me, in fact I don't know how I've manage to pass the other 3 and I'm fairly certain BEC might be a disappointment. Keep plugging away at Becker and know the topics regardless of if they are repetitive. The wider you cast your net of exposure the more likely you are to pass. Get WTB from Jeff, it was probably the reason I passed FAR.
