Hi all! This might sound a little silly but do any of you prefer taking tests on hard-copy papers or on computers? I’ve come to realize that I better understand the questions when I print them out off the Becker than when I do them thru the computerized software. Is there a way that that the CPA exam could be taken on regular test papers these days? I mean, I can probably better manage if I have a hard copy and transfer my answers to the computer… It just is really hard for my eyes to stare at the screen for a long time. Does anyone else feel the same way? I’m thinking of contacting NASBA if this request is possible… or is it?

The test is adaptive, so your 2nd and 3rd testlets are going to depend on how you do on the first one. I seriously doubt that the AICPA or NASBA or Peometric will make any accommodations for you, especially if you do not have any kind of disability.

No way they will allow this. If so, I think I'd request a shorter test… these long tests just don't suit me. 😉

I would much much rather a hard copy test!! Write all over it, X out the wrong answers, spit on it, okay maybe not that part. It would be much easier for me than squinting at a monitor & getting a head ache!

I'm with you peanut! I have to take off my glasses to see the screen sometimes and the prometric people freak out. I cant see to get in the room without them so they usually end up telling me to put them back on. I always leave with a headache.
