    Becker says it can be a component of the statement of changes in stockholders equity. I just did a Wiley question that says it can no longer be a component. What’s the deal?

    The above link might help out with that answer… if you don't want to read the entire article, it states that starting from the first quarter of 2012:

    Companies will be allowed two options with respect to how they present comprehensive income:

    1) Present comprehensive income and its components on the face of the income statement

    2) Break the presentation into two consecutive statements, and present comprehensive income on a separate page.
