I guess it’s probably tough for me to ask this with the rules about exam disclosure, but I am just wondering if in the past the multiple choice questions for FAR included little hints like “Under SFAS No. 159” or “According to ASC Topic 820”? I noticed those all over the place on the multiple choice questions in the Wiley book, but with the fact that the codification is already in effect but not being tested I didn’t know how that affected the test. The concepts are the same no matter what the reference is, but it just seems strange how the testing would work in this limbo period between the codification going into effect and it being tested.
