Hey guys, God wiling I would be sitting for FAR in july, and I am currently reviewing MC questions. I have realized that there is no way to know[off the top of my head] some of the answers to the conceptual questions. For those that have taken FAR, are we allowed to search the authoritative literature for clues to answers for MC?

God’s grace to all of you who are currently studying for the CPA.

Nope. As much as I would like to live in a world with open-book MCQs, you can only use the authoritative literature for simulations.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

hahaha thats crazy! NYCaccountant, I see you passed FAR with flying colors. What was your study strategy? How would you guage the difficulty of the actual exam questions as compared to practice questions you used.

I imagine using the AL would take so much time for MCQ anyway. You'd be better off making your best guess and moving on.
