I was wondering if someone knows about a good and cheap tax software to prepare taxes for clients?

I heard good things about Proseries turbo tax, but it is expensive: $1700 doll for 200 returns.

It is my first year doing taxes for clients and I am trying to minimize the overhead.

Drake is a cheap option many firms use.
UltraTax offers PRP license for very cheap, $300 ish, but the PRP price per return fees will get you on the back end.
A company just called me today offering $600 online software. I did not note the name or I would provide it to you.
If you do some research you can find web based packages on the cheap, but remember you get what you pay for.
My firm uses UltraTax, and I opted to get the UltraTax PRP license for my side business. I know it and use it everyday, so it seemed the logical step for me.
I know it costs more, but its cheaper then having to deal with a mistake.
