Can someone provide some advice about FAR

    I have been studying for this test for 4 months. It seems that this test has completely taken over my life. The minute I feel comfortable with my knowledge of the exam material I get a hard reality check. Sometimes it feels like I really don’t know anything even when I know the material. For example, I can have a question about bonds that I’m pretty familiar with but the way the questions are asked are confusing. Is the actual exam this confusing? I’ve taken a few practice test with WIley and I am scoring around 70 on them. I am extremely worried that I’m not going to get pass this exam, any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks

    I have been in the same boat. I have now rescheduled my exam twice. I'm set for October 9 and swear I will be prepared by then. I passed Auditing in May and haven't been motivated to get going again. I have been putting 10-20 hours a week, but really not 100%. Just waiting for winter.

    @Haze – now that you are taking final exams and scoring a 70 go back and read and understand the questions you got wrong. Maybe read through that material again if you don't understand it and continue doing multiple choice questions. Good luck!

    You'll be fine hazel, the test can be a little tricky, but not overly so. I just took it yesterday and though im not sure how i did (i dont think anyone's ever sure), there was no point where I wanted to just ball up and cry.

    If you've been studying for 4 months, I think the information has probably been internalized…just go in confidently and knock 'em dead.
