Hi all.

I’ve been studying for FAR (exam number 3) since the beginning of April. However, my studies up until May went slowly, and I must say I don’t think I retained much of anything from that month. I had to juggle CPA exam review with wrapping up my Master’s degree. Now I have the remainder of May to devote full-time to FAR. Using Becker and am currently wrapping up F7. Do you all think I have enough time to get through the materials, have a thorough review period, and somehow squeak by with a passing score? I’m anticipating basically having to redo F1-F4 completely, since I did them so long ago. Think I will be able to pull this off? Looking for some words of encouragement–my nerves are really starting to kick in and I just feel so burnt out and hopeless with so little time left. FAR really is terrible. 🙁

Yes you can! If you dedicate yourself to studying, really put in the time and focus you can do this! If you are really really unsure then reschedule but you risk forgetting what you studied in the beginning.

Have faith in yourself, study hard, get some sleep and you can do this! Anything is possible, just have to believe in yourself!

Training for a half marathon post studying!

I have started FAR prep today, with a first week or two in July exam date, hopefully since I mailed my NC application out today. I ended up choosing CPAexcel and Ninja combo with the Wiley test bank. I finished up my Masters last fall and I was like you, burnt out completely. Took a few months off and since my work (which is not accounting related is heavy Jan-Mar) I took that time to refocus and started my review course today.
