Hi guys this my fist post here

I have approved to sit for the CPA exam in CA, and I will sit for FAR and BEC in august 2010.

my problem is now I want to select the other two exams so I can sit for them in the next window.

So I have created the ($100 Fee for First-time Applicants) instead of the ($50 Fee for Repeat Applicants ) is this okay?? and is it going to affect my current application.

All I want to do is to pay for the other two exams that I didn’t pay for.

I’m very concern

It does suck, can't believe you passed on Dec but still not got the license. I am looking for jobs too as I am moving back to Cali, I passes the exam on Feb this year. Those letters really matter, I can't fill out the certification on the job application.

I feel you hasy and I didn't want to start looking until I had the letters behind my name either…I decided to start applying last week and I've already interviewed for an accounting manager position with two more lined up. The market is hot if you have the experience and education

@NeedsA75, how many years of experience do you have? Do you mind share which metro area you are in?

9 years (been working in the industry since I graduated in 2008)….San Diego metro area

Also, I was informed yesterday that I'm to be receiving an offer today for the position I interviewed for…However, I'm expecting it is going to be lower than market value so I may wind up declining since I have two other opps lined up

I only have 2 yrs experience, and I am going to move back to Sacramento area. I really want to transit to financial analyst/senior accountant, but the recruiter I contact thinks I may be lack of experience. I really need the license number, it can make me look much better.

I think you can make Sr. Accountant with only 2 years of experience but I think 3+ will give you a much better shot. It took me a while to make Senior and I've been working at this level for the past 3-4 years. The license number will definitely help

Updates: I just called CBA, they updated my transcript last Friday, and mailed out my updated status letter. I just received the letter through email after I called. I was told the final review takes 2-4 weeks, does anyone know whether it really takes that long?

When did you order your transcript? I just called and mine still hasn't been entered and I ordered it on 7/7 (didn't mail out until 7/10).

I think the final review takes 2 weeks or so based on the timelines I have seen posted on here

My transcript was mailed on 7/10/17. CBA told me that it was updated and CBA will mail the status letter today.

I ordered on July 9th, it was sent out on July 10th, and delivered on the 11th. I chose Fedex delivery, the post office one took longer.

Kiko3. Did you ask CBA to email the letter or they just automatically sent it to you?

Hasy, look at you!!! Congrats!! You are so close. Don't let the bureaucracy get you down. I am still trying to get the experience needed for a license. Enjoy these last few hurdles!!!

@Le, I requested email before, they told me they made a note on my file to send me email, but they didn't. So when today I called, I asked again, and they send to me right away.

OMG, how are you?! Haven't seen you here for a while. I'm not going to let them get me down but it is SO annoying seeing people who have PASSED the exam WAY after me and still getting my license before me. ALL this crap due to CBA… I REALLY want to write a lengthy letter to the Capitol so they know that that dept NEEDS to have more staff.

Also, it just SUCKS because it's putting a damper on my job applications right now.
