Ive been keeping track of all hours I’ve spent and I’m at 152 hours for FAR right now. My exam is in 6 days. I am so sick of studying that I want to throw up just looking at my Becker book.

I feel like if I’m not spending every hour of free time right now that I am going to fail. What do you all do to keep motivated on your last week?

Just think – do you want to spend 152 MORE hours studying? I keep having to tell myself that too… like right now I am watching tv and looking up recipes when I could be studying. I always have that feeling of guilt too.

In one week from today, you will not have to look at FAR ever again if you choose to kill it now!

You are experiencing the normal “successful exam taker syndrome” 😉

Keep working MCQ's until the day before your exam. By now, you know that FAR has lots of details, so you don’t want to forget anything.

All the success to you, and to all the candidates!!!

You may want to take a step back and refresh yourself periodically. I know that I get irritable, impatient and easily frustrated at certain points in my studies and trying to drive on only makes it worse. However, if I give myself a break to unwind I find that I come back with a much better mindset.

Remember that at the end of the day it is impossible to be 100% prepared for absolutely everything you are going to see on the exam. You are going to have to think on the fly, piece things together, make educated guesses, back-in to answers, etc. at times, and this will require more of a well rested, relaxed mindset.

I just focused on being so close to the exam! “See the light at the end of the tunnel” mindset. Good luck! I just passed FAR I know how it feels to have all those hours in.

I don't mean this to sounds like a slacker, but my last week of the exam I really didn't push myself that hard. I would go back periodically through the day and do sets of 30 questions (like a testlet). I would focus on areas I knew I was weak in and re-do some hw qs in those areas..

Other than that I hung out with friends, drank, and made sure I was relaxed before exam day. I refuse to study after 5pm the day before a test. If I didn't know it by then, I wouldn't know if before the test.

    REG - 5/21/2012 - 85
    FAR - 7/24/2012 - 86
    BEC - 8/27/2012 - 85
    AUD - 10/5/2012 - 72....rematch 1/3/13 (waiting)
