    I got a copy of “Brain Rules” by John Medina from the library, here are a few of his findings;

    Exercise boosts brain power by getting blood to the brain.

    We don’t multi-task well.

    The more meaning something has, the more we retain it. The more examples the better.

    Repeated exposure to information in specifically timed intervals provides the most powerful way to fix memory in the brain.

    fabulous….love it. I also heard from another poster on this forum that chewing gum while studying helps…here is a snippet of info:

    I found chewing gum while studying was helpful….might've been all in my head but I felt more alert and more definitely more awake–I didnt zone out as much nor start to fall asleep during those late night sessions.

    Also was able to chew gum during my exam—it gave me a nice boost of confidence, again it couldve been all in my head but I still swear by chewing gum while studying/taking exams.

    I tried the chewing gum thing… but gum makes me sick to the stomach, so I gave that up real quick. Probably because of all the fake sugar crap they put in sugarless gum. I'm sensative to that kind of stuff.
