I am going to a campus Big 4 Recruiting Event in a few hours and was just wondering if anyone has some insight on how these things are. This isn’t just any career fair – the only companies recruiting are specifically only the big 4 (plus BDO). So I was just wondering if things will be different, like since there are only 5 companies, will they have a ton of representatives from each firm or like only one table (my school is a top 20 school) each? Will they expect to have more in depth 1 on 1 conversations with candidates since it’s more of a specific event? What ever it is, I plan to talk to every company and to have long conversations each. But if anyone has some tips such as questions to ask, or points to bring up that will help me standout it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Go in wearing a tank top and boxers only and you are sure to stand out!

On a more serious note, I haven't been to an event that is exclusively the big 4 firms, but I think what many people fail to do (which is so basic) is properly research the company and know its culture, mission, what it does, etc inside and out.

Bow tie it up… its a good conversation starter and you will stand out and not look like a fool
