    Hey guys , taking FAR in 2 days and I have not really looked into IFRS stuff thus far although I do know a few differences.

    I heard that the AICPA was looking into adding more IFRS in this testing window.

    I have the NINJA notes and flashcards already and will be reading the IFRS section .

    I’m wondering if I should be using other materials to supplement my IFRS knowledge .

    thanks in adv

    I took the exam on April 9th and I was ready for IFRS but they did not ask many questions on it. I was kind of surprised. My exam was weird all in all- the topics were not tested evenly in my opinion- big emphasis on a few topics. Of course all exams are different, so know as much as you can about IFRS.

    FAR Passed 5/28/14
    AUD Passed 1/22/13
    BEC Passed 7/12/13
    REG Passed 5/9/14
    Virginia CPA license issued July 2014

    What I did was create my own list with the differences between GAAP and IFRS for each topic.

    I wish IFRS would go away already.

    You know, with so much to remember, it's pretty ridiculous that they are testing IFRS. They have been trying to coverage to IFRS for twelve years now, and it doesn't look like its even going to happen in the remote future. They should be testing IFRS once they ACTUALLY converge. So ridiculous.

    @Jeff – I'm going to hold you to that statement 😉

    FAR - [10/07/2013 --> 66] [07/07/2014 --> 86]
    BEC - [08/31/2014 --> 86]
    AUD - [11/24/2014 --> 88]
    REG - [02/14/2015 --> 92]

    I made a separate word document named IFRS and typed all the important points. I did plan on looking over it every night but had a lot of other crap to study so ended up glancing over it the night before the final.

    In any case, narrowing down the information and typing it up helped me remember most of it.
