I’m planning on taking REG soon. I’m using Gleim and I believe that the MCQ really help me prepare. But I don’t think the simulations really prepare me enough for what is on the exam. I was thinking about doing a month of the NINJA program just to do a bunch of extra simulation questions.

Does that sound reasonable? Can I create practice exams with just simulations on Ninja? Or is there another cheap test bank that would be better?

I wouldn't waste time on practicing SIMs. Just do thousands of MCQ's instead. I failed REG with 62, failed with 69, then dropped everything and went into non-stop MCQ. My score was 79 and I did not experience problems with SIMS on my exam.
