So I took FAR at the end of August and am pretty sure that I failed. Going into the exam, I was getting 80’s pretty consistently using the Wiley test bank. When I got to the exam there were so many topics Wiley didn’t cover. Do you recommend another MCQ test bank that I could practice with for next time?

    FAR - 89
    AUD - 97
    BEC - 83
    REG - 71, 85

I took FAR in August as well and I used Gleim software to prepare and I was very happy with it. I felt pretty solid on the exam and there weren't too many topics and types of MCQs that I didn't already see in my studies. Good luck! The wait for the score is slowly coming to an end!

    FAR 88 (07/15/11)
    BEC 83 (08/31/11)
    AUD 81 (10/15/11)
    REG 83 (11/26/11)

    Used NIU Correspondence CPA Review

There is some luck with the exam you receive. I used Wiley and didn't see anything on the exam not covered in the test bank.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

I also used CPA review for free for Audit to prepare for my test. I didnt buy the test bank i only registered my email and logon and did 20 questions per topic each time. The truth is i have never used the Wiley test bank but I am going to use it to prepare this time around for FAR. You can use CPAReview for Free for extra practice. Based on my Audit test that i did i specifically remember doing similar questions from CPA Review for Free. I hope this was helpful.

There is a saying that says ” VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE” so i dont think it hurts to get as much practice as possible.

I am studying for my first test (AUD) using ExamMatrix (which I haven't seen any mention of so far on any of these forums). The materials for one section at a time are approx. $300. All four: $900. I chose this software after viewing the demo and seeing the specs on their test bank. They also tailor your study sessions to how well/poorly you are performing on certain sections. You will continue getting questions that you are missing until you improve. Not only do you get the right answer, you get it explained to you in the same window and it refers you to the standards/publications the question is derived from. So far I feel like I am on track to sit in October. We will see!!

    AZ
    AUD - 10/20/2011 - 77
    BEC - 7/28/2012 - 79
    FAR - 4/6/2013 - 79
    REG - 4/18/2013 - 75 (3rd time's a charm!)
