Hello everybody,

I decided to study cpa .. and I’ll take FAR first subject. I want know which the best material to study FAR ?

 I am in fact between the two choices .. study with the Institute using Gleim or self-study with Becker? Can anyone advice me .. please..

Most of the CPA candidates I know are using Becker.

As for me, I had Wiley book & test bank & Ninja Book for FAR. Wiley book and test bank, Ninja MCQ and notes for AUD. Ninja products for BEC. For REG, Ninja exclusively for previous 2 attempts and Gleim and Ninja notes on my third attempt (waiting for Sept 20 score release).

FAR (Apr 2015) - 88
AUD (July 2015) - 86
BEC (Oct 2015) - 82
REG - 73, 70, retake Sept 2016

If I purchase becker material .. is that enought? There is no need to other materials?

Becker on it's own is enough and you won't need to supplement it with other materials. To be honest, I think if you use any of the products out there and put in the time, any of them should be sufficient on their own. Becker is well organized though and does a good job of hitting the main points that you will need on exam day.

Yep, agree with everything above. I passed all 4 first try with only Becker. At times I looked up specific concepts online, but no supplementary materials.

If your company will pay for your material I'd go Becker. If you're like me (previous employer didn't pay for my materials) and not looking to spend $3k+ on exam study material I'd go with Roger and maybe supplement with Ninja MCQ's…at half the cost.

Honestly, most credible review courses will work, you've just gotta put the time and effort into them.
