I found that Becker is the best so far, but…

    1. Make sure you go over all the examples in the text, not just memorize the solution, but understand it, and do all multiple choice questions on the CD.

    2. Make sure you know all the formulas for the financial ratio, etc. Either make a list of these formulas, or prepare (yourself, do not buy) flashcards and flip through these whenever you have time.

    3. Supplement the chapter on information technology with a material from your college IT class, and/or Becker IT handout.

    4. Study the chapter on IT methods in audit from Becker AUD text.

I used Becker, Yaeger, Kaplan and Wiley for BEC. Yaeger is the best, the least expensive, and the most flexible. I had two questions on my BEC exam that only Cindy at Yaeger covered! If I had only used Becker, I would have missed those two questions. I passed BEC on the first try.

I used Becker and passed with a 93 my first shot. Two of the chapters in Becker are painful, but they prepared me for what I saw in the exam. The exam was tons easier than what I actually saw.
