BEC and FAR

    Has anyone tried to study BEC and FAR together due to the overlap? Any thoughts appreciated.

    i think far more feeds into bec although they are different in their own right.

    far def covers a lot more ground but bec has tricky and deep concepts that trips up a lot of people

    i recommend starting with far before getting into bec. might even be better to go after aud before bec too

    anyone else have their thoughts?

    I agree with Some-day, Cost Accounting & IT alone can be tricky and from what I remember, they do not overlap with FAR. Even Financial Management has important parts that do not overlap, e.g. Capital Budgeting (again, from what I remember). I don't think that I could have passed both exams studying for them at the same time (I was studying part-time).

    Bump. I have exactly 12 weeks to finish up both BEC and FAR and finally be done. I felt like confident after BEC, so it's not like I'll need to read from first page to last page.

    Any thoughts or recommendations?
