For those who took BEC, could any of you recall if the actual exam had a similar difficulty to the AICPA Released Questions for 2011? Or did any of you feel that your exam was easier/harder than the AICPA Released Questions?

I think the released questions are easier. Don't underestimate BEC, I took all four sections already and BEC was the second hardest to me, REG was the hardest.

If you did well on the released questions, that is great, but doing your review course MCQs is the best way to prepare for the BEC exam. I used Becker and just kept doing MCQs non-stop. My score was pretty decent so im happy with that.

Some of these questions are straight out of the book. The exam is harder, of course.

I feel like some of these calculation questions released by the AICPA are lengthier and tougher than Becker's! The theory questions aren't so bad.
