<FONT face=”Times New Roman”>I do not have a clue on how well, or how poorly, I did on the CPA auditing exam. There are no guarantees. Yesterday I started writing notes on things that I saw in the exam. The simulations on the exam were off the wall! </FONT>

<FONT face=”Times New Roman”>The sole purpose of the CPA exams is to keep CPA candidates from being CPAs. Only 45% of the CPA candidates pass each exam and only 10% pass all four parts on the first try. CPA candidates are weeds that the AICPA would like to pull (rent seeking behavior). </FONT>

<FONT face=”Times New Roman”>We are not being tested on how smart we are. We are being tested on our endurance. As you know, I am 64 years old and accounting is a new career for me! However, I know that I will be a CPA. I just do not know when. I have the will to prepare. I do not get discouraged.</FONT>

<FONT face=”Times New Roman”>There was extra pressure to pass this auditing exam. I lose my credit for the CPA Regulation exam on July 10th. I cannot take the auditing exam again until July. </FONT>
