for all the aud passers and takers… i am studying for aud right now and my exam is scheduled for the 31st of this month. i just got news yesterday i did not pass bec, but considering i am going through a very emotional time with a divorce and stuff, a 70 isnt too bad.

i am super motivated to absolutely kill this aud exam. i am studying with becker and noticed that i have approximately 1001 questions to go over and learn before i even get to the sims.

does anybody have any advice they can give me on how i can dominate aud?

any help and motivational advice would greatly be appreciated.

    thank you all in advance!!

I take Audit on the 28th. I am also using Becker Self Study. I made a spreadsheet to track my progress and study times. My study plan consists of listening to the lectures, making my own flashcards, and doing the HW problems. For review, I reread every chapter then redo all the HW problems. I then do all the simulations and AICPA released questions provided by Becker. Lastly, I do a few progress test and the Final Exams provided by Becker. I also paid for an app on the Iphone that tests me on the Audit while I review my flashcards in any spare time. For Audit, I have been trying to memorize the standard unqualified report.

I may overkill a bit but I am looking for a job and want to do well.

    Good luck to you.

By the way, in before all the “do all the HW problems over and over responses.”

In my opinion, becker does a good job with audit. I know people say to the problems over and over…BUT you need to do them over and over (i did them atleast 5 times) AND make sure your score is in the 90s by the time you are done. Also, know the format of the report opinions…where the paragraphs do and how it changes based on GAAP or GAAS issues. Becker also has some pneumonics for review and compliation formats…know those…

    You can beat audit!

    AUD 95 (3/5/10); BEC 83 (5/28/10); FAR 71, 72, 74, 82 (10/16/10); REG 65,80(11/23/10)
    ALL DONE 🙂
