I am reviewing for FAR using CPA excel and there is no info on partner capital accounts, but I also have the passmaster for Becker and in lecture 2 there are questions about partnership accounts. Is that topic no longer on the FAR exam?? I don’t want to waste my time studying it if it isn’t going to be tested.

Uh…you definitely need to know it and be able to calculate it two different ways.

Are you sure CPA Excel doesn't cover it???

I can tell you that Yaeger covers it and it's a legit topic on the exam…don't take the exam without studying it.

I cover it in my FAR notes, which are free if you join Club 75.

There are also 2 hours worth of FAR webinars in Club 75.

Just and option since you're short on time.

That topic could be on the exam. Yet by the same token, don't be surprised if it isn't. There were certain topics that were not on my exam…..but it'd be useless to try to predict what topics will be ignored on any given exam.
