Checking in to our Seal Team 6 April FAR group. I have NFP to go and then start the review. How are you all doing?

I definitely have a lot farther to go than it seems you do. I'm on the Roger 6 month study plan, just shy of half way through the FAR schedule and plan to have about a week to review if everything goes well. Hope that's enough time to hit my weak spots. Btw, I'm not scheduled until April 16th.

Lots of ‘I passed' and ‘I failed' threads popping up from the latest score release. I don't know whether to be encouraged or not.

Lord, please give me a ready recollection of the things I have studied. Amen.

I am definitely not getting as much studying done this week like I wanted. I had my birthday, extra hours at work, half a day interview session, etc. Now I have extra hours at my work again today. I will be moving through the videos best I can. I am only 26% of the way through the FAR videos. I have a white board that I have the days until my exam which is really motivating me, but I need more time. I will being studying all weekend, and thankfully the next weekends are a 3 day and 4 day weekends! 🙂

Come on FAR studiers! We can do this! 🙂

@ dreambigCPA – I'm hoping once through Roger and one week of review and hitting the online testbank will be enough. I pray I'm not wrong. I'm not moving on to new sections until I have the concepts down so its slow going but I'm on schedule. How well has Roger prepared you for the other sections you've taken?

Lord, please give me a ready recollection of the things I have studied. Amen.

I'm planning to sit for Far April 7. I finished all the Becker lectures, took some notes, and finished the MC's once. I'm working the MC's second time around now, taking notes what I got wrong, and making some FC at the side. I'm already panicking because it seems like some of the MC's are foreign, and I get things wrong. I'm super stressed or what not. This will be my first test to sit on, and did I mention I'm already panicking lol!

@markmRoger is great. so far im 3-3 when studying with Roger. All my prior fails were with Gleim. I'm definately not a read and teach myself type of guy. Plus i work long hours so roger's 30mins videos are perfect for my lunch break and late night sessions. good luck! while i study i always find myself daydreaming about the moment when i see my final passing grade and celebrating lol ..pretty sad

@blessieghee Good luck! It's a beast, but it sounds like you're ahead of the game, so you'll be fine!

I'm starting a hard core study schedule tonight. (Using Jeff's free study schedule. We'll see how this works out!)

I'm scheduled to sit April 18th. It's close, but this isn't my first time around (unfortunately) and I have some vacation days coming up. So I'm hoping that, if all goes well and I can stay on track, I can finally nail this exam!!

@oneFREAKINGpoint “ahead of the game” — I don't feel like it i am though… I'm not sure if one month is enough to review and drill everything in my head. Did I mention I'm not a great test taker? ughhh!!!

I guess its the first taker syndrome…you get paranoid and pressured!!!

@dreambigCPA – Thanks for the info! It looks like you nailed AUD, did great on REG, and passed BEC on the first attempt. Those results give me confidence in the process and the completeness of the study material. Good luck finishing FAR and being DONE!

Lord, please give me a ready recollection of the things I have studied. Amen.

Taking FAR on April 25. I finished F3 (Becker) tonight (yeah Friday night!!) and feel pretty discouraged. I'm scoring around 70% on all the MCQ's. I plan to go back over lectures 1, 2, and 3 this weekend because they're already slipping on me. I'll knock two more lectures out next week and be half way there. I need more MC questions; how much does the Wiley test bank cost and is it worth it?

Taking FAR 2nd week of April. I have F9 to finish (hopefully by this Tuesday, then it's all review). What is your strategy for review?

I am going through the Becker review material (2011), finishing up F-6. I am focusing on watching each lecture and then working on the MC's for that section until I get all 100%. I feel the further along I am, the more I forget the previous sections. I don't know how anyone is doing lectures all the way through, and then coming back to focus on the MC's…. I have a hard enough time going through the MC's right after a lecture, can't imagine waiting a week or so after. I guess my long post leads to a couple of questions…. I plan on finishing up all the lectures and every single one of the MC's about two weeks before my actual exam. How should I go about doing the final review? Should I do all the questions again? (i keep reading that this is a good idea) or should I go through Sims and other test banks like wiley or gleim? Maybe a CRAM course? I feel like this is just going to be too much info to digest before my FIRST exam date. I am solely focusing on the exam, day in and day out. any recommendations on how many hours a day to study so as to not over do it?

    B-August 31, 2012 (Passed!)Last Exam.Also thought I failed...
    A-May 14, 2012 (Passed!)Second Exam.
R-July 9, 2012 (Passed!) Third exam. This one I definitely swore I had failed....
    F-April 4, 2012 (Passed!)First Exam.
